Hear renowned speakers who will challenge, transform and inspire the ways we think about the possibilities for peace in our own lives and communities. Michael Pfleger, James Forbes, Renita Weems, Shane Claiborne, Obery Hendricks, Mindy Fullilove, Walter Brueggemann.

Participate in Celebratory Worship that blends a diverse variety of art, dance, poetry, scripture, and prophetic preaching that lament the culture of violence but lift God's blessing for peace.

Learn in Dynamic Bible Study that will bring the hope and truth of scripture to bear on the current realities of violence and the Kingdom possibilities of peace.

Visit Urban Ministry sites which put attendees in direct contact with inspired ministries and grassroots practitioners who make a real impact on their communities every day.

Attend some of the 80+ Workshops and Seminars devoted to equipping urban ministers with the skills, tools, and vision necessary for creating and leading effective ministries that generate peace and justice.

Some partial scholoarships are available through the Northern Illinois Conference Office of Connectional Ministries, for those who attend 3 full days of the congress.
